Founded in 2014, P & A Urban Forestry Consulting is based in Richmond Hill, Ontario. We specialize in tree assessments, including arborist reports, tree maintenance and preservation, storm damage, insects and diseases.

Arborist Reports and Tree Permit Reports based on our assessments can be used when applying for Private Tree Bylaw Permits.
We are proud to work on residential, institutional, and commercial properties, and consult with municipal governments and conservation authorities. We are insured for commercial general liability and errors and omissions.
Our President – Peter Wynnyczuk
Founder and President Peter Wynnyczuk has over 38 years of involvement in urban forestry. He has worked in various capacities, from tree climber involved in tree maintenance, to a Supervisor in Municipal Government. He has experience developing tree inventory programs and Tenders, planning, building, road reconstruction, emergency planning, and tree-related contracts management. He has been published in several periodicals for tree-related issues, including “What helpful information can surveyors provide to Arborists?” in Ontario Professional Surveyor Magazine.
Peter Wynnyczuk uses these 38 years of professional experience as an Arborist in the Greater Toronto Area to properly assess and diagnose problems in trees. He has many urban forestry qualifications, including:
- International Society of Arboriculture Certified Arborist (ON-2067A)
- Tree Risk Assessor
- Butternut Health Assessor
- Utility Arborist
Since 2013, Peter has taught part-time college-level urban forestry courses. He has also served on many urban forestry-related organizations. In 2016, he received the Special Achievement Award from the International Society of Arboriculture for his outstanding contribution to this field.
In 2018, Peter presented information regarding the “EAB Experience in Ontario” to participating municipalities, tree services, and other government agencies at the Alberta Landscape Trades Association Conference held in Red Deer, Alberta.
