The fact that trees can cool down the areas they cover, such as parks, buildings, and houses, is agreed upon as one of the most important arguments for having a healthy and thriving urban forest. However, this article helps explain why it is so difficult to demonstrate this scientifically. Only in the proper conditions can we quantify just how much trees help to cool down our cities.
